Carolyn Powell Roberts departed this world June 3^rd 2017. She was born in Portsmouth Virginia Nov. 11^th 1932. A former resident of Richmond Virginia. She was active in the community. Carolyn was active in the Republican Party as well as other community projects.

She is survived by her sister, Nancy Prillaman as well as four children. Kathy Hoyt, John Violette, Stuart Violette and David Violette as well as grandchildren. Surviving grandchildren, David Violette, Kara Violette, Michael Violette, Christopher Violette, Valerie Violette, Paige Violette, Caroline Violette, Caleb Violette, Casper Violette, Rhiannon Violette.
